Let’s continue with part 2
Amazon virtual assistant course part 2
Okay, this is between 7059 and 1899. Now it’s done.
The brand is established, and we cannot compete with the brand in terms of price. So, we are discontinuing this product.
In my opinion, this product is not suitable. We will move on to another product.
Alright.
We can do this.
Okay, if you add it to the cart, the sale will go to the seller. That’s correct, so we can work on such products.
There is an extension; let me show you.
Go to Google and type “Zen” there.
Write “OS Advanced”, and it will appear.
We will click on it here.
It will also show how much stock is available.
If someone is holding a thousand quantities, that means the brand has dominance.
For any product where brand domination is high, we do not compete.
So, we will discontinue this product as well.
It’s not easy to find a good product so quickly, right?
We are now opening another product.
This one has a Buy Box set, and it is being shipped by Amazon.
We are checking the stock.
Now, moving forward, let’s analyze.
This is against FIFA.
Looking at the graph, you don’t need to panic.
The yellow color indicates that Amazon has taken over the listing.
If you look at the screen, I am removing everything else.
Look at the graph between October 24 and October 16—there are small yellow lines.
Between November 16 and 23, Amazon has taken over and started selling this product.
This is what the graph shows.
Now, we will go here.
Very good sales rank, which is great.
There should not be a product where the Buy Box is dominated by just one seller.
For example, if a single seller holds 60-70% of the Buy Box, then it’s not ideal.
If the Buy Box is equally shared among multiple sellers, or it keeps rotating, then it’s a good product, and we can work on it.
Since this seller has the highest stock, it indicates that this product is not suitable for us.
So, we will scroll down and look for another product.
Now, let’s click on Amazon.
Alright, here is the Buy Box.
It’s 1000, which is fine.
4000 is very good because we have a limited budget of ₹50,000.
A lot depends on how much stock you have.
If you have more stock, you get the Buy Box more frequently.
If you have less stock, you will still get the Buy Box, but not as often.
So far, this product looks good, and we have found a better product.
But we cannot finalize it yet.
Now, we need to check the average sales of this product.
For that, we will visit a website.
We will navigate to the category where we searched earlier—Pet Supplies.
These results are not 100% accurate; they are estimated results.
The data shows 4105 units and around 29 units are being sold per day.
Yesterday, 17 units were sold, which isn’t bad considering the competition.
Here, it shows “New 5”, which means five new sellers have joined.
Currently, five sellers are listed, and total sales are almost 30 units per day.
Now, we will consider this product.
The results are not huge, but they are good.
This means the product has passed the initial screening.
Now, we will move forward and analyze its brand.
If you need to contact the brand, I will show you how to do it from here.
Since we have selected this product, we need to understand how to contact the brand.
Now, you understand what the Buy Box is.
At the time of a sale, the seller who owns the Buy Box gets the sale.
Here, the Buy Box should normally rotate among different sellers.
I checked who currently holds the Buy Box, but since we are selling, we need to monitor this closely.
So, this was today’s first lecture, where I explained the first method of product hunting.
We used Keepa to analyze and shortlist products.
In the next lecture, I will explain the second method of product hunting, known as Reverse Sourcing.
Reverse sourcing involves a different approach to finding good products for selling.
Then, we will move towards friend communication.
In the previous video, I demonstrated how to apply filters and find product images effectively.
This method is called Reverse Sourcing, and here’s how it works.
Now, we have opened a product.
We need to check the quantity and all the listed details.
Next, we go to the data section and check the Buy Box statistics.
Example:
- Some sellers are already selling this product.
- Global Pet Supply is one of them.
- Similarly, we opened Golden Pet Supply to check its details.
We can see all the information about their shop.
- This seller has listed around 2000 products on Amazon.
- They are working with brands like Greenies, Nylabone, and the European Union Letter Pen Play Store.
We can also click on a single brand and check all the products they are selling.
This allows us to analyze the top-selling products of that brand.
The information also shows product prices—some are higher than others.
So, we will open the full details.
Finding the Right Products:
- Lower-priced products are usually better for selling.
- We open 2-3 more products to analyze them.
Checking Amazon Listings:
- Some listings are only from third-party sellers, while others are listed directly by Amazon.
- We need to differentiate between them.
Now, we scroll up, delete unnecessary filters, and refresh the page by pressing Enter.
So now, we have the original Amazon listing in front of us.
This product has 25,000 units listed.
Now, we need to check the rest of the status metrics just like we did in the previous video.
We will analyze:
- Buy Box percentage distribution among different sellers.
- Whether a single seller dominates the Buy Box or if it is rotating.
Since I have already explained these details in the previous video, I won’t repeat them here to save time.
Understanding Reverse Sourcing:
- This process is a bit lengthy, but it has huge benefits.
- We are targeting successful sellers who already have 500, 1000, or even 2000 product listings.
- Instead of applying filters, we directly explore their listings to find winning products.
- This method involves manual product hunting, which takes time and effort.
However, where there is hard work, there is success.
Don’t take this process lightly—it requires a lot of effort to find profitable products.
Key Takeaway:
Earning money is never easy. You have to work hard.
With consistent effort, success will come inshallah.
The next part will be very important because it will cover Brand Communication.
In the wholesale model, Brand Communication is the most critical step.
So, in the next session, I will explain how to contact brands effectively.
This will be our third session, where we will discuss how wholesale sellers connect with brands.
Previously, I explained:
- How to find wholesale products.
- How to analyze and shortlist them for resale.
Now, we will move to the next step—contacting brands for resale opportunities.
Brand Communication in Amazon FBA Wholesale Business
In the Amazon FBA wholesale model, the most important factor is brand communication.
To source products for wholesale, we need to find wholesalers and distributors who can supply us with products.
For this, we have to contact brands, wholesalers, or distributors and open wholesale accounts with them.
Why Brand Communication is Critical?
Your entire wholesale business model revolves around effective brand communication.
- You must have strong communication skills.
- You should be excellent at email writing.
- In many cases, you may also need to communicate via phone calls, so your phone communication skills should also be strong.
If you want to succeed in wholesale, you must master brand communication.
How to Contact Brands?
Once we find a potential product, we need to reach out to its brand or manufacturer.
For example:
- We identify a profitable product on Amazon.
- Then, we go to the brand’s website and find their contact information.
- We send them an email or call them to discuss opening a wholesale account.
How to Build Credibility Before Contacting Brands?
- Create a simple eCommerce website on WordPress.
- This should be a basic website (without needing a payment gateway).
- It should showcase some dummy products and information about your company.
For example, if your business name is “Best Shop Agency”, you can create a website like bestshopllc.com.
This website will help you establish credibility when reaching out to brands.
When contacting a brand, you can say:
“We are an eCommerce company named ‘Best Shop LLC,’ and we are interested in selling your products on our website and on Amazon.”
This builds trust and helps in negotiations with brands.
How to Find a Brand’s Contact Information?
- Use Google
- Go to www.google.com
- Use a VPN (to get country-specific search results).
- Search for the brand’s website (e.g., “Pod Lab Official Website”).
- Look for the contact page or wholesale/distributor section.
- Use LinkedIn
- Search for brand managers or sales representatives.
- Connect and message them professionally.
How to Write an Effective Wholesale Email?
Here is an example email:
Subject: Inquiry for Wholesale Account
